Everything I need in a phone and nothing I don't need!

Less is more!

Everyone has different needs or expectations, but for me this is the perfect phone: best in class performance, amazing battery life and phenomenal charging speed for a great price.

The biggest criticisms of this phone are the features its supposedly missing, that come standard in other flagship phones. But I would argue that that's a strength not a weakness, since I am not paying extra for features I don't need.

Wireless charging for example, is a useless, slow, and inefficient gimmick that manufacturers add to get you to waste more money buying more accessories. I love that I can plug this in to the 80W charger that comes included with the phone, jump in the shower, and its fully charged by the time I'm done. Its awesome!

Some other criticisms I would like to debunk are regarding the OS and updates. Oneplus released Android 13 a month before Samsung, and is still the fastest at getting out the latest android versions (not including Google devices ofc). And while Oxygen 12 was a bit of a step back for the OS, they did a great job bouncing-back with Oxygen 13. Its still a great, simple, customizable, minimal-frills android experience.

Another little thing I love about this phone that you don't see reviewers mention often, is that it has a really great haptics! It's a small detail that enhances that experience. Combined with the top-notch performance, it just makes using the phone that much more satisfying and enjoyable.

You can't beat the performance of this phone for this price. Yes the Pixel has wireless charging but it also has a weaker processor and slower charging. Yes you will get some extra bells and whistles with an S23 Ultra, but you'll also pay almost twice as much.

Overall this is a great choice for someone like me who just wants top-tier performance without having to pay a premium for features and extra's you don't really need.

This phone is sleek, efficient, and wonderfully customizable. If you're like me, and like to check out all of the available settings when customizing your new device, doing so with this one is a treat. Even the quick setting drawer options are great; you can have an instant switch even for things like disabling microphone and camera access, screenshare to a Chromecast, or scan a QR code. It comes with minimal pre-installed bloatware-- all of which can be disabled, if not deleted, and some of which I'm even grateful for (such as the weather app. It's getting difficult to find even a decent free weather app, and now I don't have to keep looking!)The rapid charging is no joke: coming from a phone that could take several minutes to even recharge a single percent, it's pretty thrilling to watch this thing fully recharge in less than half an hour. . . Especially since the quality fast-charging block and cable come free with the phone (which together could easily cost close to $100 for similar technology. ) The battery life itself is neither impressive nor poor; it will last through the day with standard usage but you'll need to re-charge before the next day, like most phones. But that rapid charging equals confidence that, as long as you have access to an outlet or power bank that supplies the necessary output for a short time, you'll never have to worry about your phone dying. This phone really is thoughtfully-produced and a good value for the price, and I absolutely recommend it!

Love the all-day battery life, snappy performance, wonderful haptics. The Oxygen OS is light weight and useful. Android 13 installed and 4 more updates of OS included as well as 5 years of security updates. The Snapdragon 2 processor is vastly superior to the Snapdragon 1 which should have never been marketed. A class-action lawsuit would not be surprising. Why have a flagship phone with 3. 5 hour battery life?!The camera works great except about 5% of the time as documented in many reviews. If OnePlus had put a 5x telephoto instead of the "puny" 2x it would have been a perfect phone. Who cares about wireless charging (it doesn't have it) when it fast charges at 80 watts and has a great more than a day battery life?Oh, the other thing that would make this a perfect phone is a brighter screen for viewing outside. I can see the screen but not as clearly as with my 1750 nits Samsung. This is an issue using the camera and viewing photos especially. I would make this my only phone except for the screen brightness and the 2x telephoto. My other phone is a highly regarded Samsung S23 Ultra which I would return were it not for those 2 issues. As it stands I am using the Samsung outside while walking and enjoying the OnePlus the other 80% of my day. Either phone would be a great choice as your only phone. I tried the Google PIXEL 7 Pro but returned it due to pathetic 3. 5 hour battery life.

Overall I'm loving the OnePlus 11 so far! It really feels like a flagship device, but without the ludicrous flagship price tag. It's not a perfect phone, but delivers on the aspects that matter most to me: Performance, screen quality, and battery life + charging speed. The phone doesn't skip a beat with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and up to a whopping 16GB RAM. Gorgeous screen with 1440p resolution and buttery 120Hz that dynamically scales down to save battery. Speaking of which, the battery experience is wonderful. I'm seeing 1. 5-2 days of regular use before needing to charge back up, which takes less than 30 mins! The phone does have some shortcomings however: No wireless charging, IP64 instead of IP68, USB 2. 0, decent cameras that are overshadowed by the competition, and finally a very different UI experience compared to OxygenOS of the past. These are all sacrifices that I'm willing to make given the price point of the phone. Conclusion: It's a well rounded flagship level phone that makes smart compromises in order to justify a more reasonable price. For the money it's hard to find a better value in terms of sheer hardware specs than the OnePlus 11. Although not quite the "flagship killer" we used to know, this showing is certainly a step in the right direction.
